In search of a coffee alternative?

There are a few things to consider. What kind of flavor profile are you looking for? Are you looking for something energizing, or something more calming? Something with caffeinated options, or decaf? Here are a few of our favorite herbal coffee alternatives, and how to make them.

Teeccino is a coffee alternative made from a blend of herbs, fruits, and nuts. It is naturally caffeine-free, and comes in a variety of flavors like French Vanilla, Hazelnut, Mocha, and more. To make a delicious cup of teeccino, simply add 1-2 tablespoons of the herbal blend to 8 ounces of water and brew like you would coffee.

Chicory coffee is another great herbal coffee alternative. Chicory is a root vegetable, and when dried and roasted, has a flavor that is similar to coffee. To make chicory coffee, simply add 1-2 tablespoons of the roasted root to 8 ounces of water and brew like you would coffee. If you find the flavor a bit too intense, try adding milk or cream.

Dandelion coffee is a slightly more unique herbal coffee alternative, made from - you guessed it - dandelion roots! Roasted dandelion root has a flavor similar to chicory coffee, but is a bit more bitter. To make dandelion coffee, add 1-2 tablespoons of the roasted root to 8 ounces of water and brew like you would coffee. You can also add milk or cream to taste.
